Welcome to Churn Creek Cellars
Churn Creek Cellars is a winery started in the Churn Creek "bottom", just outside the cities of Anderson and Redding, California, in beautiful Shasta County. We are a family owned business and have been growing grapes and producing wine for seven years. We are excited for you to taste our wines and to be a part of the ever expanding viticulture community here in northern California.
We would like to invite you to stop by our Tasting Room (right off Interstate 5 at Exit 670 in Anderson) and try a flight of our wines. We make every drop of the wine we sell, and we are proud to offer them for review!

Wine and Education
Churn Creek Cellars is owned and operated by Denise Evans and Layne McLean. They are both classroom educators. Denise spends her days teaching middle school (mathematics) in Anderson and Layne teaches high school (computer science) in Palo Cedro. Their daughters Ilani and Morgan help in all aspects of the wine business, as do Denise's parents, Ted (aka Chief Stevens) and Mary. Come on by and we'll pour you a taste and share some stories. We look forward to meeting you. If you work in the education field, be sure to tell us what you do. Feel free to click on the links to the left to learn more about our business.
Friends and Family
Churn Creek Cellars would not exist without our extended network of family and friends. None of what we have been able to build would have been possible without good people by our side, helping and encouraging us as we move through the process of making and selling wine.
